SECTION ONE

What Is AI, Really?

The term AI (Artificial Intelligence) gets tossed around a lot, but what we’re really talking about here is something specific: programs like ChatGPT that use language to answer questions, summarize information, brainstorm ideas, and write things for you. Think of it like a super smart writing partner who works 24/7 and doesn’t mind if you change your mind five times in a row.

What makes it intelligent? Imagine you’re trying to plan a vacation. In the past, you might type “best places to visit in Italy” into Google. It would return a long list of websites that happen to include those exact words; mostly travel blogs, tourism sites, and companies trying to sell you something.

But when you submit the same text in ChatGPT, it doesn’t just hunt for matching keywords. It understands what you’re asking and generates a thoughtful answer based on patterns it’s learned from billions of examples. Instead of sending you away to read 10 sites, it gives you a personalized summary, right then and there.

That’s the difference:
AI doesn’t just search, it responds.

You’ve probably seen AI inside other programs too, like Notion AI for organizing your notes, Canva AI for designing posts, or tools like Jasper, Copy.ai, or Claude that promise fast content generation. These all fall under the same big umbrella, but they’re just different “flavors” of the same basic idea: using artificial intelligence to assist with text, images, or planning.

The good news? You don’t need to use all of them. ChatGPT is more than enough to get started. It’s flexible, free (or super affordable), and can support your business in dozens of ways, from writing emails to mapping out marketing campaigns to helping you plan your next product launch.

And here’s where it gets even better:

As a member of AI Strategy Studio, you don’t have to figure this out alone. You have access to a full library of Custom GPTs—specialized versions of ChatGPT trained to tackle specific business tasks like writing captions, responding to clients, planning launches, and more.

Curious to create your own someday? Inside the GPT Lab, you’ll find step-by-step guidance to help you build a custom AI assistant tailored to your business—even if you’ve never written a line of code.

Now for the real magic: AI can even help you learn how to use AI. Open up ChatGPT and try something like:

  • “What’s a good way to use AI in my online coaching business?”

  • “Can you help me brainstorm ideas for Instagram posts?”

  • “How do I use prompts to get better answers from you?”

The trick is not to treat AI like a robot genius or a scary black box. It’s just another tool in your business toolkit, like Canva, Notion, or Google Docs. The more you use it, the more useful it becomes.

You don’t need to master it today. You just need to get on the on-ramp. And that’s exactly what this training is here to help you do.
